Prototype of an artillery tractor of classic concept designed for a Swiss customer. The Swiss expressed interest in this tractor in 1947, the prototype was built in early 1949. The 4.7 ton Praga tractor underwent comparative tests with competing tractors from other interested companies in 7-8/1949. Along with this tractor, Czechoslovak types DT-I and DT-III and Czechoslovak tractors took part in the tests. The quality level of the Czechoslovak machines outclassed competing foreign firms and the Swiss side declared interest in 50-100 machines. Probably due to the change of the political situation in Czechoslovakia, this interest waned. The fate of the prototype is unknown.
