As for the equipment, they wore Slovak uniforms vz. 30, which the men got from the Slovak army warehouses in Trnava. Lt. M. Kaniok wore the uniform of an SPS officer with a double cross on the sleeve, stot. L. Nižňanský wore the uniform of a Slovak Army officer, but very often he wore civilian clothes: boots, fur coat, etc. Officers without rank insignia went to events. There were helmets vz. 32. Various red ribbons on the uniforms were also used to deceive at events. On their field caps - boats, some officers wore the Slovak emblem, as in the Slovak army, others wore a golden metal badge - a moulder, which they received from the Germans, as the whole unit disguised itself as a unit of mountain riflemen. In addition, special equipment such as skis, ski boots, and civilian clothes, imported from Breclav, were used. White camouflage capes were also issued to the unit in Kremnica. The Slovaks initially wore Slovak folding legitimations with the inscription ŠJ-SPS, later from 10 - 15 November 1944 German ones with the inscription Kampfgruppe "Edellweiss"
