June 25, 1944 the Finnish army managed to capture two Soviet self-propelled guns ISU-152 at the crossroads pri Portinhoikka ( Petrovka). One was destroyed in a few days (June 28, 1944?) In battles with Soviet troops, the other, which was captured and damaged, was sent for conversion to a rescue vehicle to the Panssarikeskus (tank base, tank workshops) vo Varkaus. The vehicle did not manage to take part in the final battles. The machine was deprived of artillery armament (cannon howitzer ML-20) and the hole after the weapon was covered with an armor plate. The machine bore the designation "1212", later Ps. 745-1. The Finnish military archives ( Sota-arkisto) contain a conceptual proposal for the modification of this vehicle (attached).

Interestingly, the Finns did not know the official name of this self-propelled gun, so they referred to it as KV-JS. However, photographs of the machine reveal that not all of the intended adjustments have been made. The machine was decommissioned only in 1964. Subsequently, the vehicle was re-equipped with artillery armament and in this form is still part of the collection of military equipment in the military museum in Parole.
