At the time of the attack by France by German troops, a certain amount was produced Panhardov 178 without towers APX-3, whose production and delivery for these machines bound. Interesting conversions were created in the units in an effort to recover unarmed vehicles. In this case, a low sheet metal superstructure was created in place of the missing tower, in which a 25 mm anti-tank cannon was mounted. The source indicates the thickness of the armor plates 16 or 20 mm and the possibility of mounting a 47 mm cannon. It was probably a unique field reconstruction.
