I would be interested in details of the three rocket launchers in the photo in the attachment (or at least the markings, then I could perhaps find out), e.g. the middle one with the aerodynamic cover in front of the rockets - method of firing ???

Left on the ground: LAU-5002 missile block, CBU-XX cluster bomb (type unknown), BDU-33 training munition, SUU-5003 training block for CRV 7 missiles
As for the SUU-5003, it is designed not only to launch training missiles but also to carry BDU-33 ammunition, which is stored in a recess on its underside.

thanks for the answers, with the LAU-5003 I also thought that the rockets could be fired "through the sheet metal", but I had doubts if such a method is even possible

Reklama
it's not through the sheet metal, it's just through the relatively thin material, which is either plastic or just laminated paper.

SUU-5003 and LAU-5003 are already there (SUU even as founding ), I'll move the rest.
Edit:What wasn't there is finished, for Maverick and Sidewinder I'll check if I have photos from a smaller distance.
