V budúcom roku sa ukončia štátne preberacie skúšky nového prieskumného vrtuľníka Ka-52(NATO class Alligator, staršie ozn. Hokum B).
štátne skúšky sú rozdelené do 2 etáp - prvá sa ukončí v r.2009, druhá - preberacia v r.2010. Rusko podľa slov hl. veliteľa voj. letectva gen.plk. A.Zelina zavedie do r.2012 30 týchto vrtuľníkov, určených pre prieskumné a špeciálne úlohy, príp ako leteckých navádzačov do každého počasia.

Riadne bojové úlohy v každom počasí majú plniť v tomto roku zavádzané vrtuľníky Mi-28N, ktorých ruské letectvo plánuje zaviesť asi 100 ks tempom aby každoročne vytvorili 2 nové letky(эскадрильи).
