Canon de 75 mle TR (TR - tir rapide = rapid fire) - originally a German export (commercial) field gun made by the Krupp M 1905 company, licensed for production in Belgium by the Fonderie Royale des Canons.

Production of the cannon, partly using British parts (e.g. barrel material), continued until 1914, when Belgium was occupied by Germany. During this period these guns were in the armament of 18 mixed artillery brigades, each brigade having 3 batteries armed with these guns. A large number of these guns were destroyed in the German attack on Belgium. The guns were re-introduced into the armament of the Belgian army in 1918 and remained in service until the beginning of World War II.

After the occupation of Belgium by Germany in 1940, these guns were included in small numbers in the armament of the occupying forces as 7.5 cm FK 235(b).

The guns were of conventional design, using a hydraulic brake system and a horizontal breech. The weight of the fragmentation projectile was 6.5 kg.
