1921 - 1925 followed by the Real Gymnasium in Prostějov

1931 basic military service, classified as a radiotelegraphist
1932 passed the school for reserve officers in Turnov
1933 second lieutenant in the reserve, after his discharge from the army he worked as a teacher in Moravian schools
1934 transferred to the Municipal School in Studenec near Jilemnice, taught mathematics, art and French
1938 took an active part in the mobilisation
1940 At the beginning of the year he was warned that he was threatened with arrest by the Gestapo and decided to leave his homeland
On 28 February 1940 he left Studenec and emigrated to France via Slovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Turkey and Syria
2.6.1940 he was drafted into the Czechoslovak army in France, enlisted in the 1st Infantry Regiment, with which he participated in the retreat battles
12.7.1940 sailed to England, was assigned to the 1st Battalion
1941 signed up for special duties in the Protectorate
In October 1941 he was transferred to the 2nd Department of the Ministry of National Defence, where he worked in the intelligence department of the exiled Ministry of National Defence, later as head of the cipher department. He significantly participated in the preparation of the operation of the paratroop group ANTIMONY. He was the author of the codenames of the operations.

In June 1948, he was sent to the Czechoslovakia as an agent to organise the resistance movement and set up a radio link with London, trying to contact former Western soldiers
On 16 June 1948 he was arrested by the STB after betraying former radio operator Karel Svoboda, in prison he managed to chew a vial of cyanide and died
