V pátek 19. června 2009 se v Praze na Vítězném náměstí za účasti předních státních činitelů konal vzpomínkový akt věnovaný generálovi Heliodoru Píkovi.



Památce mimořádného člověka a statečného generála, který se nenechal zlomit ani válkou ani komunistickým režimem – Heliodora Píky, se dnes u příležitosti 60. výročí jeho popravy přišli poklonit také zástupci resortu obrany. Věnec k pamětní desce umístěné na budově Generálního štábu Armády ČR položili náměstek ministra obrany pro zahraničí Jan Fulík a zástupce náčelníka Generálního štábu AČR generálmajor Josef Prokš.
