He had a special pilot talent, therefore the first years of the war he served as an instructor in the pilot school. Only in 1917, he was transferred to the fighter unit Flik 55J on the Italian battlefield. The end of the war it caught in the ranks of the Flik 11F, where he served as a reconnaissance pilot. At the end of the 2. the second world war was killed with his family during the Russian air raid on Budapest.
