At the beginning of the WWI developed a grenade using the body similar to the older models 1847 and 1882, the body was fitted with a new lighter. The lighter was friction and initiated was the rapture of wire mesh that is stored in a wooden tube, the time between the rapture and the explosion of the grenade was very short so it's usually a grenade plunged so that the eye was caught either on the finger or a special hook and torn up in the litter.
