Dingo 2

Dingo 2
The Allschutz-Transport-Fahrzeug (hereinafter ATF) Dingo 2 is a second-generation multi-purpose armoured wheeled personnel carrier manufactured by the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (hereinafter KMW). The vehicle is designed for deployment in foreign missions and police actions, and is characterized by very good ballistic protection, which resists small arms fire, the effects of mines and explosive devices. The Dingo 2 is adapted for air transport in C-130 Hercules and C-160 Transall aircraft, or in the helicopter undercarriage of CH-47 and CH-53 helicopters. The transporter is equipped with air conditioning, a camera for sensing the area behind the vehicle, communications equipment and a GPS receiver.

The Czech Army currently uses 21 Dingo vehicles.
