Pakistánska delegácia na výstave obrany a priemyslu IDEF 2009 po ruskom proteste odstránila z expozície pirátske kópie ruských automatov Kalašnikova(AK-47 a násl. verzií). Na výstave sa však ešte vyskytujú nelicenčné kópie RPG-7 a aj kanónové náboje D-30(ráže 30 mm, určené napr. pre licenčné čínske letecké kanóny NR-30). Ruská delegácia už podala protesty na viacej vystavovateľov, vrátane Pakistanu.
