Topographic connector GAZ-69TM (replaced GAZ-69T) is a set of devices for ground navigation located on the chassis of the GAZ-69 car. The purpose of the individual devices is the constant automatic detection of the coordinates and direction indicators of the car's position, the drawing of the distance traveled by the car on the map and the automatic solution of direct geodetic tasks. The tasks of the connector include connecting firing positions and orientation of parts, guiding units along a predetermined marching axis and drawing roads, etc.
Kit contains:
- flywheel compass KM-2 (KM-2M), - coordinate and directional calculating machine (KP-1, KP-1M), - current meter with batteries (PM-2, PM-2M), - drive, - optical protractor, - PAB-2 compass, - rangefinder DSP-30, - circular counter,
The GAZ-96TM topographic connector is equipped with a night vision device (PNV-57 infrared).
Operation of the topographic connector:
