Sd.Kfz. 7 v československej armáde
Povojnové využitie nemeckých polopásov Sd.Kfz. 7 našlo asi najväčšie a najdlhšie uplatnenie v československej armáde. Poslúžili v jednotkách ťažkého poľného a protilietadlového delostrelectva (152 mm vz. 1937 ML-20, 88 mm PLK vz. 37N).
Používali sa klasické delostrelecké verzie i verzie s drevenou valníkovou korbou. Použitie je známe od skončenia 2. svetovej vojny napr. pri zbere koristnej techniky, kedy sa podieľali na jej odťahovaní. Následne poslúžili ako delostrelecké ťahače a kariéru niektoré vozidlá ukončili v civilnom použití.

The Automobile Administration of the MNO originally asked OKW to supply 30 units of Sd.Kfz. 7 to tow the 8.8 cm Flak 18. As of 13 March 1943, however, only six of these tractors had been released for delivery. The vehicles were taken over by the III DPLP Detachment in Bratislava. The very next day, 14.3.1943, four vehicles took part in a ceremonial military parade in Bratislava. All six vehicles were sent to the Eastern Front to 1st Infantry Division. The four tractors were in the 9th Heavy Battery, where they towed 8.8 cm Flak 18. The remaining pair of tractors were assigned to Artillery Regiment 11 in 7/1943. In the Army of the Slovak State, these tractors bore the designation D-7. They were tractors of type KM m 11 serial numbers Fgst.Nr. 13599-13604. Mr. Michianik states that all but one of the remaining vehicles were lost on the Eastern Front.
As of 1 November 1943, the 9th Heavy Battery DPLP no longer had any 8.8 cm Flak guns available. After heavy retreat fighting, it was located on the Crimean peninsula at Ishum. However, it still had a quartet of D-7 tractors. On November 1, 1943, it loaned three tractors to the German anti-aircraft battery protecting Ishum. Probably the same fate befell the fourth tractor. Further information about these tractors is not available. If either of the pair of tractors incorporated in Artillery Regiment 11 survived, it was probably handed over to German forces (5th Field Division Luftwaffe ?).
