National HRO-5 receiver
a Radio receiver National HRO-5


The receiver was produced in the years 1935 to 1943 and became a "model" for the in Germany manufactured by KST "Korting".

The frequency range of 50 kHz to 30 MHz was divided into podrozsahů (changeable coil, mark. "Type x"):
- Type J: 50 - 100 kHz
- Type H: 100 - 200 kHz
- Type G: 180 - 430 kHz
- Type F: 480 - 960 kHz
- Type E: 900 - 2050 kHz
- Type D: 1,7 - 4,0 MHz
- Type C: 3,5 - 7,3 MHz
- Type B: 7,0 - 14,4 MHz
- Type A: 14,0 - 30,0 MHz

No1 had a range of 138 to 25 MHz, of course without amateur bands. This was the electrical and mechanical concept of the HRO, but modified in some details.


No8 had the source built into the same cabinet as the receiver and was portable on the back.
