WS19 is a mobile radio station designed for connecting tanks and motor vehicles. In addition to British troops, it was also used by other Allied troops. It was even delivered to the USSR with descriptions in English and Russian at the same time. Model Mk I. was only on KV and model Mk II. and Mk III. they also had a separate FM station in one cabinet. At that time, they were referred to as Set A. (KV) and Set B. (VKV).
Ranges: Set A 2 to 8 MHz, Set B 230 to 240 MHz
Power: Set A 25 to 30 W for A1, 10 to 14 W for A2 and A3. Set B approx. 0.2 W
Set A range up to 40 miles, Set B about 1000 yards
Modulations: Set A a1, A2, A3, Set B A3
Antennas: 2.4 to 3.6 m
