CZK - LPR-80 (letecká radiostanice)

LPR-80 airborne radio


It was developed in Mesit Uherské Hradiště and was fitted to L-39 aircraft as a replacement for the Soviet dual-band airborne radio R-832.


The R-832 was installed in the B. Bystrica, a ground version was produced in the mid-1980s to replace the single-band RTL-11 on "towers" and a number of ground vehicles.

- Frequency range.
I. VHF (I. aeronautical band)118,000 - 155,975 MHz;
II. UKV (II. aeronautical band)220,000 - 399,975 MHz;
- Type of operation: simplex radiotelephone operation with amplitude modulation (A3);
- Transmitter power: full 16-20 W, reduced 6 W±2 W.


(Its upgraded version, LPR-96 / LUN 3520, is also designed for inter-aircraft communication and communication with ground-based air traffic control equipment. Its technical parameters meet ICAO regulations and NATO standards).
