Under this designation is hidden a development version of the tank Pz.Kpfw.II. It was to be a light reconnaissance tank armed with a 20 mm KwK 38 gun with a 1.3 metre anti-aircraft barrel MG 34 and a machine gun MG 34. After the prototype was built in 7/1941, a verification series of 15 tanks was to be built. However, no machine from this series was completed and the armoured components produced were used in the development successor VK 13.03 (Pz.Kpfw.II Ausf.L). Parallel development of the specification VK 13.02 was also underway.
