TOPAS-2AP

This is a Polish modification (erroneously referred to as OT-62C), which was created by rebuilding an unarmed version of a floating armored personnel carrier OT-62A , on which the Wojskowa Akademia Techniczna worked. A modified turret from the SKOT-2A transporter was added to the machine. It was equipped with a heavy machine gun KPVT 14.5 mm (ammunition supply 500 pcs) and a coupled machine gun SGMT 7.62 mm (stock of ammunition 1000-2000 pcs), which was later replaced by a machine gun PKT same caliber . The crew consisted of 3 members and 12 transported airborne soldiers.
There were two versions, in addition to the described version called I, there was version II for the transport of the team with mortars. This version had 3 crew members and carried 2 82 mm mortars with 8 men and a supply of 50-100 ammunition.
