Extensive publication describes the history of the armed forces of the Hungarian kingdom in the interwar period and during world war ii. The book is divided into eleven chapters, the first of which is devoted to a concise history of Hungary in the reporting period, two relate to the development of the organizational structure and combat actions in the interwar period and during the war, one of the Hungarian arms industry, three specialize in the more detailed history of the several species of troops, the other three are devoted to the analysis of the armaments and military equipment and the last monitors the uniforms, rank insignia and badges. From this overview it is obvious that the publication has a strongly selective character, and the main attention is given to the tank units, military air force and river flotilla on the river Danube, while the other kinds of weapons and all services come fairly simply. The book has a fairly comprehensive picture attachment, including black and white photos on inserted sheets and in text, colored elevation of the aircraft, colorful pictures hodnostních label, map sketches, etc. Book is similar in structure to the publication about Slovak army, which was published by the same publisher in the past..
