Minor correction: The President's Honor Guard does not use this sabre, but sabre vz. 84.
PS: Honor guards are not battalions. It is a tradition since the days of the Honor Guard Regiment (until 2001)(formerly the Honor and Castle Guard Regiment) when the battalion of the Castle Guard, later the President's Honor Guard, was part of the regiment. Then there was a split into 2 separate units. CS of the Slovak Armed Forces (first CS ASR) and CS PSR.
