Jičínský LIR 11 byl od začátku války součástí litoměřické 26. zeměbranecké (od r. 1917 "střelecké") divize a s ní se v lednu 1918 dostal na tyrolskou frontu. Divize zde patřila k 11. armádě a bojovala na Planině sedmi obcí.
