The OT-65 A light wheeled armoured personnel carrier is an amphibious combat vehicle designed to conduct reconnaissance with the ability to overcome water obstacles without preparation. The vehicle is equipped with auxiliary hydraulically operated wheels for overcoming terrain obstacles. For overcoming water obstacles, two water cannons are provided at the rear of the vehicle. It was created by reconstructing the OT-65 R and M / M - modernized /) and adding a full-swing turret taken from OT-62 TOPAS. The turret had a UK vz.59 7.62mm machine gun and on the right side an 82mm T21 tracer mounted in a special lafette. The OT-65A armament is a product of Czechoslovak arms development and industry.
