APA-5 ( & # 1040; & # 1055; & # 1040; -5), or APA-4GM ( & # 1040; & # 1055; & # 1040; -4 & # 1043; & # 1052;) - basic model on the chassis Ural-375D ( & # 1059; & # 1088; & # 1072; & # 1083; -375 & # 1044;)
APA-5D ( & # 1040; & # 1055; & # 1040; -5 & # 1044;) - on the chassis Ural-4320 ( & # 1059; & # 1088; & # 1072; & # 1083; -4320)
APA-5DM ( & # 1040; & # 1055; & # 1040; -5 & # 1044; & # 1052;) - upgraded.
APA-5 Mobile Power Supply (APA-4GM) is a continuation of APA-4G Mobile Power Supply ( & # 1040; & # 1055; & # 1040; -4 & # 1043; ). Serial production began in the late 1960s at the Zhukov Engineering Plant ( & # 1046; & # 1091; & # 1082; & # 1086; & # 1074; & # 1089; & # 1082; & # 1086 ; & # 1084; & # 1084; & # 1072; & # 10; # 1090; & # 1077; & # 1100; & # 1085; & # 1086; & # 1084; & # 1079; & # 1072; & # 1074; & # 1086; & # 1076; ;).
APA-5 is designed for electrical starting of aircraft engines (one or group) and powering on-board electrical systems during ground diagnostics.
Electricity is provided by a PR-600x2 generator ( & # 1055; & # 1056; -600x2) with a voltage of 28.2 V, a pair of rechargeable batteries 12-ASA-145 ([i ] 12 - & # 1040; & # 1057; & # 1040; -145), GT40P46 three-phase generator ( & # 1043; & # 1058; 40 & # 1055; 46[/i ]), or GT60PČ8ATV ( & # 1043; & # 1058; 60 & # 1055; & # 1063; 8 & # 1040; & # 1058; & # 1042;) with voltage 208 V/400 Hz and transformer TS315CO4B ( & # 1058; & # 1057; 315 & # 1057; & # 1054; 4 & # 1041;). Everything is located in a simple body of the vehicle, while the batteries are located on a sliding frame. On the side of the setup there are two brackets for connecting and storing connecting cables.
The generators are driven by the vehicle's engine via an auxiliary PTO shaft and an additional gearbox. The generators are cooled by forced air cooling via a fan.
Another equipment of the superstructure is the voltage stabilizer BRN-208M7A ( & # 1041; & # 1056; & # 1053; -208 & # 1052; 7 & # 1040;) (located above the DC voltage generator) , voltage converter 120 V/400 Hz and transformers T-1.5/0.2 providing voltage production up to 37 V. The control panel of generators and additional gearbox is in the driver's cab. The optimal engine speed for the generators is ensured by automatic regulation of the fuel supply to the engine by means of electromagnetic regulators.
The vehicle is equipped with a radio station (on the rear wall of the cabin) to ensure the connection and on the front of the vehicle is a towing device that allows towing aircraft.
