QF 18-pdr field gun, Mk. I, II
This QF 18-pdr field gun is based on the Chrismase Eve design. This gun, after some modifications, took part in WW2.
These guns were licensed in the USA (815 were produced in total), but had a shorter barrel.
The gun was produced in India, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. During WW1, 1,126 of them were produced.
Interesting fact:
In Soma, these guns used 11,300,000 rounds of ammunition. A total of 99,300,000 rounds of ammunition were produced for these guns during WWI.
