Note: On 27 December 1916 he and his observer Lt. H. J. H. Dickse on F.E.2b (7666) in a dogfight with German aircraft from Jasta 1. At 11.15 am they managed to shoot down a fighter piloted by Gustav Leffers. Subsequently, however, they became the target of an attack by Wilhelm Cymer. This damaged their aircraft and Quested was forced to make an emergency landing behind British lines at Wancourt with an injured observer.
Quested won all of its victories with the 11 Squadron RFC.
