General Jānis PRIEDE (L.k.o.k.) (16 Aug 1874 - 26 Nov 1969)
Served in the Russian Army during WWI and after a period as POW of the Germans, returned to Latvia and joined the Army as Captain on December 20, 1918. In 1944 he fled to Germany and after the war to the USA where he died.
