General Augusts Ernests MISIŅŠ (21 Dec 1863 - 8 Jul 1940)
Served in the Russian Army as Commanding General, Latvian Rifle Division and Commander, 1. Rifle Brigade, reaching the rank of Major-General. Joined the Latvian Army as General in March 1919. After retirement lived in Estonia, but later returned to Latvia and died in the Rīga Military Hospital in 1940.
