General Jānis LAVENIEKS (L.k.o.k.) (12 Jun 1890 - 17 Feb 1969)
Served in the Russian Army before capture by Austrian forces. After release, served in the White Russian Army before joining the Latvian Army on July 29, 1919 as Captain. In 1944 he fled with his family to Germany and after the war to the USA where he died.
