Humber Mk.I AA Quad

Humber Mk.I AA Quad
The need for a lightweight mobile anti-aircraft device has resulted in the development of this conversion. This special AA version was introduced in 1942. It was basically a Humber Mk.I chassis with a specially modified carriage. The flood tower was replaced by a Special AA superstructure designed and supplied by Stothert & amp; Pitt Ltd in Bath. The armament consisted of four coupled machine guns BESA caliber 7.92 mm (7.92 x 57 mm Mauser). The tower was verified from above and placed in the storage of the flood tower. The superstructure had a simple circular sight, placed on a frame coupled with machine guns.
