JAS-39 QUINQUIES Gripen (9819) of the armaments 211. tactical squadron captured at the gate 21. the base of the tactical air force after a morning mission COMAO exercise Lion Effort 2015, 21.5.2015. At the ends of the wings has podvěšený registry missiles Sidewinder. 12. may be the 21. the base of the tactical air force in Caslav launched the largest air exercises above the territory of the Czech republic held in 2015 called the Lion Effort 2015. In its framework was a common training states, whose armies have any versions of the aeroplane JAS-39 Gripen (while the users are known under the acronym GUG, i.e. Gripen Users Group).

The aim of the exercise was the planning and implementation of air operations against ground and air targets with a greater number of aircraft and air battle of 1 vs. 1, 2 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2 aircraft. In the framework of the flight was deployed up to 28 pieces of aviation equipment at the same time. Program exercise Lion Effort 2015 has been divided into two main blocks. The morning flew missions according to the comprehensive scenarios for the coordination of all the practitioners (the so-called Composite Air Operations - COMAO), in the afternoon, followed by the mission (the so-called Shadow Wave), which bulls focused on maneuver air combat and on the tasks of direct air support. Nearly three dozen aircraft be able to work out together the tactics of air combat, on practice techniques and procedures in the cooperation. The unit 25. anti-aircraft missile regiment of Strakonice at the čáslav base simulate the so-called "Base Defence Zone", thus the defense of the airfield against enemy aircraft with anti-aircraft missile system 2K12 Kub (2x 1S91 SURN CZ, 4x 2P25M2).

To 20.5.2015 was in the exercise Lion Effort 2015 flown a total of 231 flights and 292 hours of flight time. The exercise officially ended 24.5.2015..
