CZK - kordík vz.27

Kordík vz.27 for officers and sergeants of Czechoslovakia. air force.

Introduced into service by a decree of the MNO of 1927 and worn until 1939. It was the same for officers and sergeants.
Brass set (yellow metal) with slightly convex bristles imitating ivory. A simple guard rail formed by two, slightly convex shoulders, while the lower one is shorter.
In the middle of the partition is a circular medallion, in which there is a lion from a small coat of arms in a diamond. Square head with round locking nut.
Double-edged, double-sided, gradually tapering polished blade, passing into the central point. Marked by the manufacturer (Wlaszlovits Štós) on the one hand and the left and last two digits of the year on the other. There are also variants with both markings on one side.
Steel sheath covered with dark brown or dark blue, smooth or suede leather with brass fittings. Triangular hanging loops on the upper two fittings. Upper and lower fittings decorated with a geometric motif.
Dark brown suede leather hanger with two rectangular sliding clips measuring 40 x 18 mm, finished with a carabiner.
