2 cm MG151/20 Flakdrilling auf Panzerwerfew Maultier (poľná úprava)

This rare vehicle was in the hands of rebel forces in May 1945. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly where. The photo can be found in the link. It is retaken from a lecture. It is most likely a field modification. The original self-propelled rocket launcher 8 cm Raketen Vielfachwerfer auf Fahrgestell Maultier has had the rocket launcher removed and replaced with a flakdrill, which is complete without the shield on this car. Something like a protective shield could perhaps serve the sheet metal on the leg of the flak. The sheet metal probably has white lettering "ETA" REVOLUTIONARY GUARD.

There is a five-pointed star on the side of the vehicle. If we go by the customs of the time, it is probably red. Also the identification (?) number 3. On the side of the vehicle there is a sort of folding bench. Perhaps used for boarding (?). When it is folded down (as pictured) it does not allow access to boxes 2 and 3. There is a similar indeterminate structure on the cab ceiling/roof and above the front crew hatches. Only the machine gun mount was there as standard. The camouflage is probably multi-coloured. It's quite difficult to determine from a photo of this "quality"

Diskuse

To date, I have managed to obtain three photographs of this weapon. Two are similar to the one published here (it's one of them) and the third is a nice detail on the shooter (Mr. Hojka) while drilling in a shooting pose for a cameraman. From a better scan, it is clear that a red-blue-white tricolor with the letters Czechoslovakia is painted around the side window.

The folding bench probably doesn't serve for boarding, there is a door at the back and it would probably not be very normal to touch over the side, I rather think that the board is attached at the top and tilts upwards, which could make the body expand so that the shooter can shoot to the sides (I think the body is otherwise narrow and should have nothing to stand on) but even when hanging up, it will stand lower than on the body. I think the three "bulges" on the side of just across the board could be just one part of the hinge on which it rotates.

As Laszlo Gaal points out in the discussion on the link, see below, this is a rare modification 8 cm Raketen Vielfachwerfer auf Fahrgestell Maultier . It is identified by a tilting rocket launcher support attached to the cab ceiling and a box behind the front wheel. The support was probably used to relieve the load on the carriage during the movement of the vehicle.

According to the evidence was made by a few vehicles of this type (on the chassis of the pz. kpfw. iii), and to them the next improvozovaný armor armed with drillingem on the chassis of the lorry (the type I will mention later as I find out). According to the other photos should be one of the tankto the modified works (on the chassis of the pz. kpfw. iii) only two barrels of the three.

(conjecture) - But it's possible that was less the main as carts and just split up.....
