Maďarská generalita (1919-1945)

The royal army retained the rank of the former austro-Hungarian army, therefore, also five generálských degrees, while the third tier is členil to three degrees according to the type of weapon:
I - field-marshal - Tabornagy;
II - colonel-general - Vezerezredes;
III - general of the infantry - Gyalogsagi Tabornok;
III - general of artillery - Tüzersegi Tabornok;
III - generáljezdectva - Lovassagi Tabornok;
IV - field podmaršál - Altabornagy;
In - major-general-Vezerörnagy.
The rank of field marshal was not newly awarded, the other ranks were used.
In the war the navy has been committed to the takeover of only the two lower ranks:
IV - vice admiral - Vezerfökapitany;
In - rear admiral - Vezerkapitany.
It was, inter alia, therefore, that the imperial administrator Miklós Horta y Nágybána had the rank of vicedmirála..
