Őrmester Szojak served with the 1/1. "Íjász" vadászszázad's in 2. a swarm operating on the Fiatech CR.32 from the airport Ungvar during the border clashes Slovakia in the spring of 1939 . Reached two kills fighters the Avia B. 534 (49. squadron, corporal C. Martiš and 45. squadron František Hanovec) for which he was awarded the Arany Vitézségi plane on (the Gold medal for bravery).
In 1940 changed Szojak your last name on the Szobránci in honor of his victory.
