Anti-aircraft tank T-70 (zjenitnyj)
Brief history
In 1942, the Soviet military leadership commissioned the development of a light anti-aircraft tank to several design bureaus. It was to be a vehicle with identical driving characteristics to the light tanks of the time.
The design of the Zavoda No. 37 design bureau was based on the T-70 light tank. The T-70 (zjen.) anti-aircraft tank performed worse than the T-90 tank in comparison tests. For example, during firing the whole vehicle was wobbling. However, neither of them went into production, due to the alleged low effectiveness of the chosen anti-aircraft weapon.
