!!! Attention, the uniform shown is not for sale !!!
In 1940, the Swiss Army introduced a uniform that differed slightly from the type introduced in 1926. The main change was the collar, which could be worn in the new model "open". Like the 1926 model, the uniform is made of heavy blue-gray cloth, lined with one fabric. The buttons are made of metal, the collar is fastened on a metal hook. Belonging to the type of army and clothing can be distinguished by the sewing on the collars, shoulder straps and sleeves. The yellow number on the shoulder strap indicates the yellow grenade battalion, and the crossed axes on a black background indicate affiliation to the units of the miners.
The carrying system consists of a belt, bread box, field ash, field bottle, Patronentaschen 1932 bags, Dolchbajonett 1918 bayonet, "Gasmaskensack" and "Zelteinheit 01" tents.
The helmet is a 1918 model with a camouflage cover resembling a German "broken rock"
