CZK - vz. 5/8 (8 cm kanón proti letadlům)

Cannon against aircraft vz.5/8-caliber 8 cm

Weapon system Erhardt with a horizontal wedge in conclusion, the modification of the light cannon vz. 5/8-caliber 8 cm for the needs of anti-aircraft defense, made in 1919, a joint Stock company, formerly the Škoda works in Pilsen.
The cannon was made up of the principal, the cradle and carriage. Steel barrel with vodorvným v conclusion was imposed on the cradle, together with the hydraulic brake and zpruhovým vratníkem. The gun carriage has been adapted for embedment in the concrete of the platform stationary the firing station.
For shooting are used shrapnel ammunition the vz. 13.
In the czechoslovak armed forces were a total of four pieces as follows the modified cannon, which accounted for one-stationary anti-aircraft battery throughout the interwar period.

weight shipping – 5 370 kg, the weight of the fighting – 3 980 kg, caliber – 76.5 mm, barrel length – 4,04 m (52,8 calibre), elevation angle – -1° to +85°, the gun arc – 360°, the weight of the hub – of 14.58 kg, muzzle velocity – 800 m/s, maximum remote range – 16 900 m, the maximum height range – 11 500 m, the cadence – up to 28 rounds per minute, operator – 6 persons.
