    TTD cannon vz. 15
    caliber : 37.2 mm
    barrel length : 372 mm (10 a calibre)
    muzzle velocity : 175 m/s
    range : 2200 m
the weight of the projectile : 0.65 kg
    max. elevation : + 45°
measured quantity : 5°to each side
    weight : 118 kg
transport : 3 men or on soumarovi.

Trench gun was intended for silencing the enemy machine guns and therefore did not need to have any dazzling fire performance, therefore a short barrel (according to her, it was actually a howitzer) and was intended for direct fire. Required was easy portability for movements in the trenches (hence the 3 men) experimentally tried even dog sledding. Cannon's system to Shame, but produced in ČKD in Vysočany, but also in other races in the monarchy..

    Dear all,
even a little note on the edge. My grandpa for this gun used the concept of: čim-bum or čin-bum. Registration of military nicknames, I'm not sure, but in principle, these two words indicate a description of the activities of weapons: shot and after a short flight explosion.

    TTD cannon
    - the austrian army name: 3,7-cm Infanteriegeschutz M.15
    - the name, according to the Italian sources: a 3.7-cm M Schnellfeuer.15
    - short: 3,7-cm IG M15
    - Hungarian army name: nezjištěn

    The weight in the carriage
    - weapon in the unfolded state (the sum is not the same as Bitaxovým indication)
    - barrel: 34,6 kg
    - cradle: 25,3 kg
    - pedestal: 24,4 kg

    Ammunition
    - the cartridge, dimensions in mm: 37x57 R
    - tříštivá missile
    - šrapnelová missile

Remedy was produced from 1915, used mainly explosive missiles (tříštivotrhavé grenades and shrapnel) further the projectile with tracer. In any source I haven't come across it that the cannon was using armor-piercing bullets (due to the low muzzle velocity it wasn't even). After the war was thanks to its mediocre performance probably fairly quickly eliminated.

The source I was mainly a book of Czechoslovak artillery weapons, the author Vladimir Karlický, issued in 1975 in publishing Our troops (edition MARS) ISBN n. a.

The book is also a source of the previous post, the author refers to the archives of the skoda, where there is an irregularity in the weight of the question, therefore, perhaps greater weight is the for cannon with wheels drawn by dogs, or is the gun the added weight of ammunition. The fact is that when the layout of the three parts is 118 kg lot (for one man would be based on around 40 kg), in theory this could be solved by transporting the guns in the military history institute, where appropriate, research documentation ibid..

    The field trench cannon M.15

When the first world war transitioned into the position of fighting, felt the infantry need artillery support for the destruction of fortified targets. The field artillery was, but for such needs very inaccurate and cumbersome. For this purpose it was first set aside the mountain of the cannon, but you were also very heavy. It turns out that the most effective is the direct shooting.

Guns should be in each regiment R-infantry, but most commonly the possession of the regiment only one gun. Service provided 3 men.

Zaujímam sa on he Plzeňskej skodas and in this trench cannon ma take two things.
    1. The exhibits vôbec nekorešpondujú with period photo. Exhibits got pretty nezmyselne two oporné feet with pätkami front (pätky are upside naklonené) and one leg with okom and rydlom back and period photo that has a upside and a heck of a lot logickejšie.
    2. Videl som document on the DISCOVERY channel ohľadom WWI and zákopovej the army. Under this document mal trench cannon periscope to kanon could even at ground level (priam paľba) and shot in the dugout with his head under the úrovňou the field. On hore priložených photo it predpokladá len pohľad forget the shield.

    Vie me please someone poradiť?.
