Emile (Emil) Jeannin, brother of Henri Jeannina, in his youth, was a known bike racer, according to the then fashion was also for example a race car or speedboat. Jednomístná vylepšená německá verze typu ETRICH TAUBE (letounu rakouského konstruktéra Igo Etricha), licenčně vyráběného v "Emil Jeannin, FLugzeugbau" v Berlin-Johannisthal pod názvem Jeannin Taube, ev. Jeannin Stahltaube - mělo již kovový rám. Tento letoun byl Němci nasazen také do I. sv., ale pro nedostatečný výkon a manévrovací schopnosti (pomalé zatáčení) byl již po 6 měsících z fronty stažen a sloužil dále jako vycvikové letadlo.
