The Cletrac crawler tractor has been manufactured for the US armed forces by Cleveland Tractor since 1941. It was also manufactured by Deere. By 1945, more than 8,500 units rolled off the production lines. The tractors were mainly used by the Air Force to haul heavy aircraft. It was also used by the RAF.
