Determination: The radio station consists of a simplex receiver and a transmitter with frequency modulation. It is designed for two-way radio telephony communication between mobile means on the spot and on the move.
The radio station enables a connection without avoiding and tuning on any of the ten pre-prepared frequencies.
The radio operates on a 3m antenna. It is permissible to operate on a 1 and 2 m antenna, or an emergency antenna at closer distances. To increase the range it is possible to use a broadband VHF antenna placed on a table.
After proper selection of frequencies, simultaneous independent operation on a common antenna is possible when using a block of antenna filters:
- two rdst R-173
- rdst R-173 and radio receiver R-173P
The radio station allows operation from a talker, or without it, using a hood with a throat microphone.
Operation with a speaking device is possible via the amplifier of the throat microphone (R-173-16).
Tech. rdst data:
- Frequency range 30 000 až 79 999 kHz
- frequency spacing of individual frequencies is 1 kHz
- the transmit power at the nominal supply voltage of the on-board mains is min. 30 W
- frequency instability max. +1,5 kHz
- transmitting frequency stroke 4 and 6 kHz
- receiver sensitivity is max. 1.5 microV, with noise limiter on max. 3 microV
- the suppression of the mirror frequencies of the 1st MF frequency and at the same time of the first and second intermediate frequencies is 100 dB
- allows 10 working frequencies to be prepared in advance
- the mean čtransition time from one pre-prepared frequency to another is max. 3 s
- overcurrent capabilityť from - 50 to + 50 deg. C and at a relative humidity of 95 až 98% and a temperature of +40 st. C
- power supply from the on-board mains with a nominal voltage of 27V (upper limit +2V, lower limit -5V) with grounded negative pole
current consumption at a nominal on-board mains voltage of 27V must not exceed:
- at reception - 1,5A
- when transmitting - 9,0A
- the dimensions of the radio station including the hanger are 428x222x239 mm
- weight of the basic set is max. 43 kg
