Flakpanzer Panther mit 3,7 cm Flakzwilling 341

The development of a new anti-aircraft vehicle on the chassis of the PzKpfw.V "Panther" began in 1944 at Rheinmetal-Borsig. It was planned to have 2x 3.7cm Gerät 341 as armament, in a 360° turret and with a sweep of up to 90°.

The project was given the designation Flakpanzer 341 or also Flakpanzer V "Cölian". The project ended in the stage of a wooden mock-up turret with the weapon system mounted on a PzKpfw.V Ausf.D "Panther" tank chassis.

This unofficial project name is said to have been the third surname of the guy from WaPrüf 6 who was in charge of overseeing the development of the Panther-based anti-aircraft tanks.
Lieutenant Dipl.Ing.von Glatter-Götza (von Glatter-Götza-Cölian ?). In any case, this nickname does not appear in any official document.
