The M79 Osa anti-tank means are used by members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) as part of the Syrian civil war. Their use in Syria and Iraq is also documented by members of the Islamic State terrorist organization.

P.S .: according to the findings of "investigative journalists", 132 "rockets" of the TB8606 series were sent in 2005 from Slovenia to VOP š.p. Novaks for disposal, with ammunition of the batch documented in 2015 in Libya and subsequently with FSA and IS members in Syria and Iraq. The conclusion of the so-called "investigative journalists" was that the Slovak Society did not dispose of the ammunition, but re-exported it ... None of those journalists thought how much ammunition was produced in a given batch and where the ammunition was stored in the former Yugoslavia (weapons are or were in service Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and even Kosovo). The only one who admitted to owning the batch was Slovenia, which proved that the ammunition should have been disposed of by a Slovak company. Conclusion of "experts" from the Czech Center for Investigative Journalism "One of the possible supply routes of the Islamic State starts in Slovenian army warehouses and leads through Slovakia."
