In-3 (vontató 3 - tractor, type 3)
The emergence of an experimental vehicle In-3 is shrouded in mystery, one thing is certain, however, that the proposal came from the british factories of the Straussler Mechanisation Ltd.
Vehicle V-3 wasn't the first, for which it was designed the chassis strausslerovy system. Its predecessor was a proposal and a prototype (maybe just a model ?) the floating belt of the tractor with the designation V-2, which originated in 1933.
The author of the technical solution was a brilliant british designer of Hungarian origin Nicholas Straussler (06.08.1891-03.06.1966), which in 1934 had drawn up a prototype In-3 and its subsequent modifications in the Hungarian firm of Weiss Manfréd Rt. (further WM).
On the basis of vehicle-3 incurred the following options: - in 1934 a test chassis, rebuilt on the test bezvěžové vehicle - in 1935, designed version In-3 for Japan, exports did not materialize - in 1935 the draft of the floating version of the V-3 with two additional pontoons on the sides of the fuselage - in 1935 tested the floating version In-3, in the Uk reportedly equipped with towers - in 1936 proposed export spired variant of In-3, exports did not materialize
