Pražský arcibiskup Jan z Jenštejna


Narozen asi roku 1348, zemřel 17.6.1400.


V letech 1375 až 1379 zastával úřad biskupa v Míšni
V letech 1376 až 1384 zastával úřad kancléře krále Václava IV.
V roce 1379 se stal třetím pražským arcibiskupem. Úřad převzal po svém strýci.
2.6.1392 položil základní kámen chrámu svatého Víta.


Po rozporech s králem Václavem IV. se v roce 1396 vzdal úřadu arcibiskupa a odešel do Říma. Tam byl jmenován titulárním patriarchou alexandrijským.


Byl autorem mystických literárních děl.
