EC 30 kW
The EC 30 kW is used as an AC power source for lighting and powering various three-phase and single-phase appliances (radio stations, lighting sets,...). It is transported on a two-axle P-38R chassis in tow behind a towing vehicle. The maximum road speed behind the towing vehicle is 80 km/h.
The main parts of the EC 30 kW are: diesel engine T 924 A-53 and ringless alternator BGC 8104 with contactless voltage regulator. Together with the ZR 693 electrical switchgear, they are mounted on a supporting frame, on which the fuel tank, battery boxes and the hood are also mounted to protect the functional parts from the weather.
