The R-3A mobile radio command post is intended as a combat mobile command post for a unit commander or battalion headquarters.


The unit is built into the body of a P V3S off-road vehicle. It is equipped with radio links for communication with superior and subordinate commanders as well as for internal communication.

Description:
R3A/AT is a mobile radio station on the chassis of the standard freight
car Praga V3S with box body,equipped with VHF stations
R-107,R-111,R-123,KV station R-130 and means for establishing a dial-up connection.

When you move to use two hinged whip antenna on the roof of the superstructure,in the battle position, the operator manually ejecting two jedenáctimetrové masts,one with a whip antenna for VHF and the other with a dipole antenna for KV.The superstructure is divided into two parts:
- front with built-in radio sets and their accessories,with a place for two people to operate
- back with a place for a commander with the option of remote control of radio stations,spare parts and cabinets to elektrocentrálu.This is functional for manually pulling and being whisked away to the appropriate distance from the car.Both spaces are linked through the window.

Variant R3AT has an extra front compartment vestavěnu wardrobe for the so-called"utajovač",a device which is used to encode the radiokorespondence.The connection is then possible to establish between the two R3AT,or R3AT and counterpart also equipped utajovačem.
In the normal operation is for the two vehicles driven power plant on the jednonápravovém the trailer,which has a higher performance than the one in the car and also with her better handled.
