Soprano

The development of the Soprano began in the second half of the 1980s. One prototype was supposed to see the light of day, which not only took part in factory tests, but also took part in tests at engineering departments. The project was eventually canceled in the late 1980s.

The basis of the device became the chassis BVP-1 extended by one pair of wheels. In the middle and rear of the car, there was a tall superstructure equipped with a filter-ventilation device, in which the five-member crew was to operate. In the central part of Soprano, there was a retractable platform equipped with 360 ° reconnaissance sensors.
